Telenet en TBWA voeren een digitale detox-campagne in Brussel.

Op 18 maart werd ons leven compleet overhoop gehaald, zowel privé als professioneel. Onze schermen werden onze voornaamste vensters op de wereld. We vergaderden, chatten, flirtten en aperitiefden via Google Meet, MS Teams, FaceTime, Skype, WhatsApp of Houseparty.

Maar na 3 maanden tegen schermen praten is ’t welletjes geweest. Tijd om weer buiten te komen en opnieuw het echte leven te ontdekken. In een verrassende campagne van Telenet en TBWA komen verschillende computers aan het woord. Terwijl ze ons overtuigen om te “deconnecteren”, worden ze gevoelig in beeld gebracht door fotograaf en regisseur Jef Boes. Het thema komt terug in filmpjes op sociale media, radiospots en posters.

Het opvallende is dat deze oproep tot digitale detox komt van de provider met het snelste breedbandnetwerk van België. Dat de campagne werd gevolgd door een aanbod om na het afkicken voordelig weer de draad op te pikken, is dan ook geen toeval.
