ENGIE en TBWA bouwen escape room waar je energie niet mag laten ontsnappen

‘Don’t let the energy escape the room’. Zo heet de escape room die TBWA samen met City Cubes voor ENGIE ontwikkeld heeft. Een maand lang kunnen nieuwsgierige deelnemers in deze pop-up op een leuke manier ervaren hoe het is om thuis UP te hebben, het energietotaalpakket van ENGIE. De escape room opent op 24 oktober de deuren op de Meir 13 in Antwerpen en is nog tot 23 november gratis te bezoeken.

Ontsnap sneller dan je energie

Met UP heb je je energie thuis helemaal onder controle. Daarom draait de escape room helemaal rond energiezuinigheid en -efficiëntie. Zo moeten de bezoekers bijvoorbeeld op zoek naar de heetste verwarmingen, of de grootste energieverspillers in een kamer. Hoe sneller ze dit doen, hoe minder energie ze verloren laten gaan. En wie op het einde van de rit het snelst is, kan een e-step of e-bike winnen.

“Met deze activatie willen we op een plezierige manier laten zien welk economisch voordeel het eerste energietotaalpakket UP mensen concreet oplevert. Het is ook een mooie gelegenheid om ons engagement en onze ambitie helder naar buiten te brengen: van België de kampioen in energie-efficiëntie maken,” aldus Florence Coppenolle, Chief Communication & CSR Benelux bij ENGIE.

Veel meer dan enkel escapen

Er is in Antwerpen geen escapen aan, want de Meir 13 werd voor de gelegenheid in een kleurrijk UP-jasje gegoten. Er valt ook veel meer te beleven dan enkel de escape room. Je kan er binnen ook kennismaken met boxx, de slimme thermostaat van ENGIE die inbegrepen is in het UP-pakket. Bovendien ontdek je er ook welke realisaties ENGIE al gedaan heeft om Antwerpen energie-efficiënter te maken.

En omdat iedereen kan meedoen aan de transitie naar nieuwe energie, werd de bovenverdieping volledig ingericht als een gezellige workshopruimte met interessante sessies over zonnepanelen, verwarming en efficiënt energiegebruik. Inschrijven kan op voorhand via engie.be/escaperoom. En wie langskomt krijgt er een een hippe tote bag bovenop.
