TBWA Antwerp et Joe donnent leur cœur à George Michael

“Last Christmas, I gave you my heart”, chantait George Michael avec Wham! Ces mots n’ont jamais aussi durement résonné qu’en ce jour de Noël 2016 où il s’est éteint. TBWA Antwerp et la station Joe ont décidé de célébrer George Michael pour son extraordinaire carrière musicale en demandant à toute la Flandre de donner à son tour son cœur – littéralement – au lendemain de Noël. Comme dans la chanson : “The very next day”.

« Comme toujours, une partie de l’artiste survit à l’homme. Il n’a pas seulement apporté énormément à la musique des années 80 et 90. Il s’est aussi souvent démarqué en adoptant des positions controversées. Pour lui mais aussi pour les autres », explique Alexandra Potvin, DJ sur Joe. « En donnant notre cœur au lendemain de Noël, nous laissons nous aussi un héritage qui bouscule les conventions, tout en espérant améliorer la vie des autres. » Via l’option « évènement marquant », chacun pouvait décider sur sa page Facebook de devenir donneur d’organes. Chaque participant était alors invité à laisser un message à la mémoire de George Michael.
