TBWA en McDonald’s® serveren de CBO met een flinke hap humor.

Heuglijk nieuws voor de vurige chicken lovers onder ons. Na sinds mei 2019 van de radar te zijn verdwenen, prijkt de legendarische en felbegeerde CBO (chicken, bacon, onion) eindelijk weer op het menu bij McDonald’s®. En zoals het vaak gaat bij een blij weerzien, worden er aardig wat traantjes van geluk weggepinkt. Dat blijkt althans uit de heerlijk ontroerende – en haast absurde - commercial die TBWA samen met regisseur Jeroen Mol onlangs inblikte.

De langverwachte comeback van de CBO wordt iedereen duidelijk te veel. De emoties
laaien steeds hoger op. De liefdesverklaring van The Righteous Brothers uit 1965 met de lovende woorden “My love, my darling… I’ve hungered for your touch.” giet er nog
een extra ontroerend sausje bovenop. Tot op het zeemzoete af.

Fans mogen dus alvast beginnen watertanden. En vragen best een extra servetje bij het bestellen.
