TBWA kraakt mee met 6 andersvaliden

Meer dan vijfduizend. Zoveel mensen met een beperking en een beperkt budget wachten op een aangepaste woning. Da’s madness! Om die huizenhoge woningnood aan te kaarten, kraakten 6 andersvaliden een huis in the middle of the street in Koekelberg. Want in een wachtlijst kan je niet wonen.

Op 21 november vroegen onze krakers Sammy, Peter, Gert, Leen, Joyce en Dimitri de pers over de vloer. In aanwezigheid van minister Jo Vandeurzen, minister Freya Van den Bossche en Stijn Coninx vestigden ze de aandacht op Inclusie Invest: een coöperatieve vennootschap, opgericht door de ouders van gehandicapte kinderen, die die aangepaste huizen graag wil bouwen.

In het kraakpand nam TBWA ook een videoclip op: een eigen versie van Our House van Madness. En om de actie op Facebook een duwtje in de rug te geven, kan je het huis op www.kraakmee.be virtueel mee kraken. Share if you care: met elk stukje aandacht wordt de wachtlijst een beetje korter.
