Two Men and a Horsehead et Herb Lubalin se donnent rendez-vous au Musée Royal de Mariemont

Après avoir remporté la compétition cet été, Two Men and a Horsehead, l’agence design de TBWA Group, a eu l’honneur de pouvoir réaliser la nouvelle identité visuelle et la signalétique du Musée Royal de Mariemont.

Œuvre de l’architecte Roger Bastin et exemple marquant de l'architecture des années 70, le Musée Royal de Mariemont avait besoin, pour se magnifier, d'un design graphique fort. Un souffle de modernité tout en respectant le style et l'architecture du bâtiment. Cela ne pouvait se faire sans l’influence du célèbre typographe Newyorkais Herb Lubalin.

Le bâtiment, particulièrement significatif, fait véritablement corps avec l’histoire du Musée. C'est la raison pour laquelle il était nécessaire de s’orienter vers un concept graphique influencé par les années 70. Un concept avec un style et un design en parfaite harmonie qui respecte l'architecture spécifique du Musée ainsi que son environnement. N'oublions pas que la signalétique et les indications directionnelles ont un impact direct sur l'architecture et sur l’atmosphère générale du musée. Ouvert à la diversité et fidèle à lui-même.
